Why air-conditioners need a dedicated circuit
Air-conditioners draw a lot of current when they start up. Running one from a shared circuit can trip breakers, overheat cables and shorten the unit’s life. We install a dedicated circuit with the right cable size, circuit breaker and outdoor isolator so your system runs reliably.
Is your switchboard ready?
Older switchboards may not have the space or capacity for new air-conditioning circuits. We’ll check yours when we quote and let you know if a switchboard upgrade is needed.
Keep your system running efficiently
Regular cleaning of filters and coils helps your air-con cool faster, use less power and last longer. For extra comfort at a lower running cost, pair it with ceiling fans.
Servicing homes near you
We install and service air-conditioning in Kelmscott, Armadale, Byford, Harrisdale, Southern River and surrounding suburbs.
Frequently asked questions
What size air-conditioner do I need?
It depends on the room size, insulation, ceiling height and sun exposure. We’ll help you choose a unit that suits the space so it isn’t over- or under-sized.
How often should my air-con be serviced?
For most homes, once a year before summer is a good routine, with filters cleaned more often during heavy use.
Why does my air-con keep tripping the power?
Common causes include an undersized or shared circuit, a faulty unit or an issue with the switchboard. We can find and fix the cause.
All our electrical work is carried out by a licensed electrical contractor (EC 15388) and comes with a 3 year warranty.
